Mike Bearup
Audit Partner, KPMG

Mike Bearup is the partner in charge of KPMGs Boulder office.He is the mid-market audit practice leader for KPMGs southwest area, and is a venture capital practice champion. Mike has more than 22 years of experience providing audit and business advisory services to the technology, software, manufacturing, medical device and venture capital industries.

Bearup has significant experience with initial public offerings; ongoingperiodic reporting for publicly traded companies; and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has significant experience in international operations of United States-based manufacturing and technology companies. Bearup has also helped companies establish accounting systems, and he has advised management on strategic and day-to-day financial and business matters.

Bearup is an honors graduate of Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is affiliated with the Colorado Software and Internet Association as a board member, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants as treasurer, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mile High United Ways Campaign to End Homelessness.
