James Linfield
Partner, Cooley Godward Kronish

James Linfield is a partner in theCooley Godward Kronishbusiness department. He is partner in charge of the Colorado office and joined the firm in 1993. His practice focuses on representation of public and private technology companies and venture capital funds, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances. Prior to joining Cooley, Linfield worked as chief financial officer and general counsel of Somatogen, a biotechnology company. From 1980 to 1990, Linfield was with the Denver law firm of Davis Graham & Stubbs, for the last five years as a partner.
