Andy Paliszewski
Andy Paliszewski joined Siemens Energy Inc. in 1999 and has
recently relocated to Boulder as the director of wind turbine
research and development. In this position, he is heading
up the U.S. based wind turbine R&D effort for Siemens
and leading the firms Cooperative Research and Development
Agreement with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to
test a new design 101meter 2.3 MW wind turbine. Previously,
Paliszewski was the new program development manager for Siemens.
and was responsible for government-funded R&D programs,
emerging technology programs for power generation and representing
Siemens Energy Inc. on technology trade associations. Andy
is active in the American Wind Energy Association and has
previously held chairman positions in the Gas Turbine Association
and PowerGen Renewables. Andys background includes
experience in nuclear and gas turbine power plant operations
and maintenance, power transmission and distribution and
manufacturing. He is a certified Navy Nuclear
Power Plant Engineer, earned a Master of Business Administration
from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and a Bachelor
of Science from the University of Michigan.
