On November 7 in Denver, CCIA joined business and political leaders to announce the formation of the Advanced Energy Economy. CCIA is one of the first regional cleantech organizations to become an AEE chapter. We look forward to supporting the growth of energy jobs, promoting energy security and lending our voice to the national energy conversation.
On Monday, November 7, eight cleantech leaders were announced. This year's winners included: Gevo, OPX Biotechnologies, Inc., RavenBrick Inc., Adrian Tuck, CEO of Tendril Networks, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Fort Collins Utilities, State Representative Cheri Gerou and Paul Nelson.
The Colorado Cleantech Action Plan finds Colorado's innovation in the wind, solar, smart grid and bio-derived sectors, combined with the state's progressive policies, will be the leading driver of industry growth over the next five years.
