2012 Legislative Session

CCIA will be promoting a measure designed to foster market development of electric and natural gas vehicles and associated charging and fueling infrastructure in Colorado. The "Public and Retail Utility Provisions Regarding Electric and Natural Gas Vehicles" act is expected out of drafting soon. CCIA becomes one of the First AEE Chapters

On November 7 in Denver, CCIA joined business and political leaders to announce the formation of the Advanced Energy Economy. CCIA is one of the first regional cleantech organizations to become an AEE chapter. We look forward to supporting the growth of energy jobs, promoting energy security and lending our voice to the national energy conversation.

Meet the 2011 cleantech leaders

On Monday, November 7, eight cleantech leaders were announced. This year's winners included: Gevo, OPX Biotechnologies, Inc., RavenBrick Inc., Adrian Tuck, CEO of Tendril Networks, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Fort Collins Utilities, State Representative Cheri Gerou and Paul Nelson.

State Univ., and Colo. School of Mines. In the past 5 years, over 450 provisional, non-provisional and international clean technology patents have been filed by researchers at these schools.
